Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Noi Arrival 

Dinner

Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in (standard check-in time: 14:00).

Day 2: Ha Noi Fullday City Tour 

Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

After breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Start the day with the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university built in 1076, with its well-preserved architecture and gardens offering insight into the country’s history. Continue to the Vietnam Historical Museum (closed on Mondays), home to valuable artifacts from various periods of Vietnamese history.

 

Then, enjoy a relaxing one-hour buggy tour through Hanoi’s lively streets, experiencing daily life in the bustling Old Quarter. Ride through fascinating streets that still bear the names of traditional trades from the 15th to 18th centuries, with stops at Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.

 

Then, drive back to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 3: Discover Ninh Binh/ Hoa Lu – Tam Coc Cave 

Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Our driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Hoa Lu and Tam Coc. Upon arrival, your guide will lead you through the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, where you’ll visit the temples of King Dinh and King Le, learning about these rulers' heroic roles in the wars against Chinese invasions.

 

After exploring Hoa Lu, we’ll continue to Tam Coc, just 10 km away.​In Tam Coc, you’ll board a bamboo boat rowed by local people along the Hoang Long River to explore the "three caves." Drifting through these vast caves offers a cool respite from the summer heat, and the journey of around two hours reveals the beauty of local life along the river, traditional fishing scenes, and Tam Coc’s stunning limestone karsts.

 

Back to your hotel and relax. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 4: Discover Sapa – Cat Cat Village 

Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

After breakfast, depart on a scenic five-hour drive along the highway to Lao Cai, stopping for lunch upon arrival. Continue to Sapa, where you’ll begin a soft trek to Cat Cat Village, nestled at the base of Fansipan Peak and home to the Black Hmong ethnic group. Stroll through the village, taking in the beautiful landscapes and valley views.

 

Stop by a picturesque waterfall at the valley’s bottom and see the historic Hydraulic Power Station built by the French. Enjoy a photo opportunity by the bridge and waterfall before heading to your hotel in Sapa. Overnight stay in Sapa.

Day 5: Fansipan Peak 

Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then, our guide will pick you up and take you to Fansipan Cable Car Station. After a 15-minute cable car ride, take in stunning views of rice terraces and Sapa’s hidden villages. Climb 600 steps to reach the top of Fansipan Peak, also known as the "Roof of Indochina" (3143m), and explore Fansipan Legend attractions like Bamboo Garden and Bao An Thien Tu.

 

Transfer to hotel in Ha Noi for Check-in. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 6: Ha Long Bay Overnight Cruise

Enjoy your breakfast and check out.

At 8:00 AM, the driver will pick up guests from the hotel for a scenic 3-hour drive to the harbor. Embark on a 24-hour cruise through Halong Bay, a breathtaking natural wonder of towering limestone islands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch on board as you sail deeper into this mystical landscape.

In the afternoon, explore some of the bay’s numerous islands, with a visit to one of its three largest caves: Thien Cung, Dau Go, or Sung Sot. Stop at a secluded cove with a pristine white sand beach, where you can swim in the warm waters of the Gulf of Tonkin (weather permitting). Overnight on the cruise, surrounded by the serene beauty of Halong Bay.

Day 7: Ha Long Bay Back To Ha Noi – Fly To Da Nang 

Breakfast/ Brunch/ Dinner

Start your day early with a rejuvenating Tai Chi session or enjoy a hearty breakfast. As the boat heads back to the port, stop at the stunning Surprising Cave, where you can marvel at the impressive stalagmites and stalactites. After the visit, enjoy a smooth sail back to the main harbor and a scenic drive back to Hanoi.

 

Arrive in Hanoi by the afternoon and transfer to the airport to fly to Da Nang.​ Overnight in Da Nang.

Day 8: Bana Hills With Golden Bridge

Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Then, pick you up from your hotel and go to visit Bana Hill. Next, Experience the cable car system: You will admire the height of most modem cable car systems in Southeast Asia. After finishing the first cable car, you will visit France Village, Linh Ung Pagoda, Flower Garden, and Golden Bridge. From here, you will see a panorama of Danang city.

 

Have lunch with a buffet at Arapang, the restaurant on Du Dôme Square which can accommodate up to 4,000 guests and offers over 90 buffet dishes. Then, you have free time to play games at Fantasy Park, Vietnam's largest indoor recreational area, which provides thousands of indoor games for families and children.

 

Return and overnight in Danang.

Day 9: Marble Mountain - Coconut Forest - Hoi An Ancient Town

Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Pick up from your hotel to join the group visiting Marble Mountain, a cluster of five marble and limestone hills southeast of Da Nang, each named after one of the five elements: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth. Then, visit the Stone Carving Village to observe skilled artisans at work, and continue to ascend the Water Mountain to explore Tang Chon Cave and the historic Linh Ung Pagoda.

Visit Coconut Forest. Near the estuary of Thu Bon River, Hoi An Coconut Forest is 200 years old. During the Vietnam War, communists made full use of its vastness, interlaced canals, and inaccessibility by big boats, to build a hiding base. They used basket boats to move around like locals and now, travelers have a similar experience. During the ride, how people catch small crabs by the rob or fish by the net, make accessories with palm leaves, and the “dance” (boat spinning) absolutely can be expected. In 2009, the forest became a part of a Unesco World Biosphere Reserve.

Next to Hoi An Ancient Town, where you’ll discover the Japanese Bridge and an ancient house. Once a vibrant 17th-18th century trading port, Hoi An remains a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian port city. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10: Hue Imperial

Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Begin the day with a hotel pickup and head to Hue City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993, celebrated for its rich history and architectural marvels along the serene Perfume River. The first stop is Lap An Lagoon in Lang Co, where you will visit a pearl farming village. Next, explore Khai Dinh Tomb, the resting place of the 12th emperor of the Nguyen dynasty, followed by a set-menu lunch at a local restaurant.

 

Afterward, visit Dong Ba Market, a hub for traditional foods and specialties like royal tea and local wine. Continue to the Hue Imperial City, the most iconic landmark in Hue, where you will walk through the historic grounds and learn about the lives of the Nguyen dynasty's 13 emperors (1802–1945). Conclude your exploration with a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hue.

Day 11: Fly To Ho Chi Minh

Transfer to Danang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, a driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Take some time to relax before heading out for the afternoon activity.

Day 12: Cu Chi Tunnels & City Tour

Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Start with a hotel pickup and head to Cu Chi Tunnels, a significant site from the Vietnam War. Watch an introductory video, explore the underground network, and see wartime relics like man-traps, bomb craters, and a tank. For those interested, there’s an option to try shooting an AK-47 or M-16 at the nearby range (fees apply). 

 

After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the Reunification Palace, a historic symbol of Vietnam’s reunification. Continue to Notre-Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office to admire their stunning French colonial architecture. Visit the War Remnants Museum for a sobering look at the country’s history. If time permits, stop by Ben Thanh Market for some local shopping before returning to your hotel.

Day 13: Journey To Mekong Delta (Ben Tre)

Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Enjoy the breakfast at hotel and check-out. Our guide and driver will pick you up at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel to begin a memorable day in the Mekong Delta.

 

Start with a scenic boat ride along the Mekong River, passing lush coconut groves and charming riverside villages. Visit a coconut processing workshop to discover the craftsmanship behind various products and sample local treats. Explore a traditional village, observing local handicrafts such as pottery and weaving. Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch before transferring to Can Tho.

 

Drop-off at the hotel in Can Tho for check-in. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 14: Cai Rang Floating Market in Can Tho

Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and check out. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel. You’ll begin with a 30-minute boat ride through the vibrant floating market, where you can see boats filled with tropical fruits like mangoes, rambutans, longans, and durian. You can also board a merchant boat to experience the market up close. Afterward, visit traditional workshops to learn how locals make “Hu Tieu” noodles, praised by chef Gordon Ramsay for its delicious broth.

Next, visit Ong Pagoda, a historical site dedicated to the Chinese general Guan Yu, followed by Munir Ansay Pagoda, a spiritual center for the Khmer community. The tour continues to Cai Be in Tien Giang Province, where you’ll join a cooking class and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Back to Ho Chi Minh for check-in. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh Departure

Breakfast

Free time until our driver is picked up at the hotel then transfer to the airport for departure to your home. (Standard check-out time is 12:00)
